Our venture has a long history, starting with where we were born and raised...

 

My name is Rita James and my husband, Ben, and I are food connoisseurs. Ben is from Myanmar (also known as Burma) and I'm from Kolkata, India. Since we grew up surrounded by exotic cuisine, and we also share a love for cooking, we were constantly looking for new food to tempt our palates.

 

Over the years, we received a lot of positive feedback from everyone who tasted our cooking. People suggested that we open a restaurant, teach a cooking class or write our own recipe book. In 1998, we began to think seriously about starting a home-based cooking venture.  

 

As a pilot project we started selling our own homemade Perfect Taste Salsa andPerfect Taste Hot Sauce. To our surprise, we found there was a strong demand for real – tasty and healthy – food products. After receiving rave reviews, we continued to add new products to our line-up including: Perfect Taste Curry Powder, Perfect Taste Curry Sauce and Perfect Taste Caramelized Onions which have been well received for their ease of use and rich flavour.
